Lena Dunham to pen Syrian refugee story for Steven Spielberg - read details


Actress Lena Dunham The big screen will be the story of the troubled living story of a Syrian refugee stranded in the sea.

Dunham is tapped by co-producer Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abraham, diversified to "A Hope More Powerful Seas: To Customize" An Unbelievable Story of a Refuge, Love, Loss and Survival ".

Non-fiction release comes from United Nations High Commissioner and Chief Spokesman of Flatiron Books writer Melissa Fleming.

It documents the true story of Doe El Zemail, who is the mother of two who escape from Egypt for a boat from Sweden. On the way side of the ship, Al Zemel survived for days in open water, with two small children supporting only an inflatable water ring in each hand.

This project is set up at Paramount Pictures, where Abrams' bad robot and Spielberg's Ambien Partners have been produced. Arif Hossain will act as the film, which is expected to co-distribution globally from Embubben and Paramount.
